Irbis Firewall Configuration Dialog - Output settings

The Output settings panel allows you to configure access control with ease. These preferences is applied to all IP packets that your computer sends before this packets is check by security levels rules.

Output settings also will not be changed when you change security level, and are more easy to understand, but they has one strong limitations - it's not recommended to use Output settings on routers (Lan-to-Internet gateway computers).

Output settings table columns semantic:

Protocol
IP protocol that packet carries

Local address
Local IP address and optionally port number (packet source address)

Remote address
Remote IP address and optionally port number (packet destination address)

Acion
Action that will be applied to packets of such kind

Log
Will be packet stored to the log file or not

Alert
Should Irbis Firewall notify when such packet is sent

Options
Packet options - ICMP type and code or TCP flags if possible
