The Input settings panel allows you to configure access control with ease. These preferences is applied to all IP packets that your computer receives before this packets is check by security levels rules.
Input settings also will not be changed when you change security level, and are more easy to understand, but they has one strong limitations - it's not recommended to use Input settings on routers (Lan-to-Internet gateway computers).
Input settings table list columns semantic:
Protocol
IP protocol that packet carries
Local address
Local IP address and optionally port number (packet destination address)
Remote address
Remote IP address and optionally port number (packet source address)
Acion
Action that will be applied to packets of such kind
Log
Will be packet stored to the log file or not
Alert
Should Irbis Firewall notify when such packet is received
Options
Packet options - ICMP type and code or TCP flags if possible
