The HTTP headers panel allows you to manage HTTP request headers. Headers may transfer some information you may need to hide (i.e. your browser and operating system versions and others). Irbis Firewall allows you to override HTTP headers your browser send.

Delete header processing rule
Removes selected header processing rule

Every HTTP request header has its own unique name and some value. Irbis Firewall will look request for the given header and performs action you selected for this header. There are four kinds of header actions:

  • Drop remove header from request
  • Change replace header value if that header is defined in request
  • Append add header to request if it isn't already defined
  • Change or append change header if it is already defined, otherwise add this header to HTTP request
