The Log settings panel allows you to manage the log settings of Irbis Firewall. Irbis Firewall log system can collect all the packets rejected by the filtering rules. The Log settings panel allows you to manage the log saving frequency, log file sizes and other options related to packet logging.
Enable logging
Enables/disables packet logging
Flush log to disk every ... seconds
Set a maximum time limit between two buffer flushes
Maximum log file size
Set maximum log file size. When this size is reached,
current log file renamed into the form YYYYMMDDHHmmSS.DMP.
Afterwards these files can be reached using the
Irbis Firewall log viewer utility
Log files directory
Set the directory to store Irbis Firewall log files
Enable log over network
Enables NetLog feature. Using this feature, Irbis Firewall can
store log files on the remote log server. This option is available
for Irbis Firewall Professional
Server address
IP-address or computer name of the Irbis NetLog server.
NetLog server can collect logs from multiple computers that
run Irbis Firewall Professional. If you use computer
name, you must be shure, that the name will be always
properly resolved to IP-address.
Port
TCP port number that NetLog server uses.
Save logs into a database
This feature allows you to configure Irbis Firewall
to force it store logged IP packets into any ODBC datasource.
SQL options
Shows database and query options dialog box where you
can set SQL text and database connection that should be
used to store logs using ODBC.
