Custom Security Level Configuration Dialog - Bindings

See also: Irbis Firewall Configuration Dialog > Custom Security Level Configuration Dialog

The Bindings Configuration Panel allows you to define conditions used for applying rulesets to IP interfaces. For each IP interface Irbis Firewall selects two rulesets depending on interface IP address. One ruleset is used to filter incoming packets; the second one is for the outgoing packets.

For each IP interface Irbis Firewall searches for the row with minimal subnet that contains IP address of this interface. If there is no such row, Irbis Firewall uses the default binding. Default binding row cannot be removed, but can be changed so you may be sure that each interface is bound with rulesets.

Add binding
Appends a new row to the bindings list

Delete binding
Removes the selected row from the bindings list

Reorder binding
Sort bindings in the list and place it in the orders they will be checked and used when new interface activates
