Irbis Firewal - ODBC log options dialog

The ODBC log options dialog box aloows you to specify ODBC database options to allow Irbis Firewall to store logs into any ODBC-compatible database. This feature can be very useful if you want to store logs on one server and use any SQL queries to abalyze stored logs.

Datasource name
The name of ODBC datasource. Only SYSTEM datasource names can be used for this option.

Database user name
Database users' login name. Irbis Firewall will use this user name to connect to the ODBC datasource.

Database password
Database users' password. Irbis Firewall will use this user password to connect to the ODBC datasource with the username you selected.

SQL query text template
SQL query text. This text will be used as template for each logged packet when storing it into a database. This text can contain macro substitutions - special words in percent sign boundaries. When Irbis Firewall stores the logged packet into a database, all macroses will be replaced with associated values

Substitutions legend is shown in the right part of the windows. To add macros into a query text, you can select appropriate substitution, double-click it, and macros name will be automaticaly added in the SQL text under the cursor.
