The picture below shows the main Irbis Firewall. On closing this window Irbis Firewall does not finish its work. It stays accessible through an icon in the system tray area, which looks like i letter in a green, yellow or red circle (depends on the Current Irbis Firewall mode). Click this icon to restore the main Irbis Firewall window, or right-click for the popup menu.

Status bar
Displays the current Irbis Firewall mode

Main menu of Irbis Firewall main window contains items for configuring Irbis Firewall settings and calling various tools and utilities. Main menu is integrated with toolbar, so you can place on toolbar buttons that will call most recently used menu items. The important submenus of main menu are:

The main window can also contain child MDI windows:

    Interfaces
    Displays the list of active IP-interfaces and the rulesets applied to these interfaces

    TCP connections
    Displays the list of opened TCP connections, including listening sockets

    UDP sockets
    Displays the list of opened UDP sockets on your computer

    System IP routing table
    Displays the full routing table of IP packets on your computer

    Process
    Displays listening ports and established connections your computer owns, and shows processes that uses these communication objects
